The Trip to Chur
July 10, 2018
Today was the day that went to the city of Chur. First we took a train, and then we switched to another one, which was a very long but fun ride. Many of us slept, spoke to each other, and played games. When we arrived, we walked through the city and arrived to the front steps of a church.
We were told we were going to play a game whose goal was to find DJ Bobo's biggest fan. He would send us hints of where he was in the city, and we would find him by seeing him dance everytime we sung the song "Chihuahua" by DJ Bobo. It was very challenging and exhausting, because we had to run across the entire city.
After a while, we spotted him sprinting extremely fast, and Logan and his group - The Pros - ran after him and caught him.
Then we returned to the original meeting point: the church to eat lunch and take a break. After the break, we did what we were all waiting for: SHOPPING!
We split into groups of 3 or more, and had 2 hours to shop anywhere we wanted to in the city. During that time, many people went to buy food, souvenirs, and clothes. On the way back with the train, we had the chance to eat what we had bought, and enjoy the view during the last few days of camp. Back at the house, we had some free time, and then we ate delicious lasagna. Then we had the chores of the day, which was not the most exciting thing. Then we came back to the dining room, to do our workshops.
All in all, it was a fun, and adventurous day. And we can't believe that the camp is almost over.
