15 & 4
The 2nd day of the two-day hike...
We started the day waking up at 7 am. Some people woke up earlier (at 5 am) to see the stunning sunrise. It was a cold 20 minute hike to the mountain top to see the amazing view of the sun. Many of us got spectacular photos. For breakfast, there was cereal and bread.
After breakfast, we filled up our water bottles, brushed our teeth and wore our hiking boots.
The hike on the 2nd day was easier than the first, because most of it was downhill. The hike was 15 kilometers and took 4 hours. On the way, we had breathtaking views and moments and landscapes and creatures around us.
We saw large cows, cute marmots and Swiss pigs. The landscape around us we filled with mountains, trees, rivers and animal poop. We ate lunch on a hill, beside a river. We had salami sandwiches and chocolate.
We were enlightened when we found out, there was only one more hour to the bus stop. We took the bus from La Resgia, Chapella to La Punt, Chamues, which took 15 minutes. One thing, we just have to point out: we don't understand why on the sign of the bus stop, there is a circle with inverted colours in the middle. We arrived at the camp house, feeling exhausted, relieved and happy it was over. Overall, we thought the hike was beautiful and tiring.
